The Genesis ecosystem businesses and partner companies donated more than 8 million UAH to the needs of children and Okhmatdyt Hospital, which suffered from a rocket attack on July 8 this year.
The Genesis for Ukraine corporate foundation raised more than UAH 4.5 million of this amount. These are contributions from Genesis, OBRIO, Jiji, Genesis CEO Volodymyr Mnoholyetnyi personally, and donations from employees. The company donated these funds to the Zaporuka charity foundation, which has been working with children with cancer since 2008. With these funds, Zaporuka purchased everything necessary to prioritize the needs of children in serious condition who were transferred to three other clinics after the attack on the hospital. Among the items already purchased are patient monitors, infusion machines, medicines, and consumables.
Additionally, almost 4 million UAH was transferred by partner companies and ecosystem businesses to the accounts of other funds that help overcome the consequences of the attack on Okhmatdyt. SKELAR, BetterMe, Headway, Quarks, and Universe joined in to collect and contribute funds.
